Carer Support

It can be difficult to find support when you are trying to juggle work, home, and caring for family/friends. There are Ontario Carer Associations to give you a single point of access to help.

Caregivers experience higher rates of stress, depression, and burnout. Physical, mental, and emotional stress affects you and your support circle as well as the person you care for. The link below takes you to a short questionnaire to identify if you could benefit from extra support.

The Ontario government has a very useful website for carer emotional and financial support. It is well laid out and easy to navigate. There are home and community supports highlighted.
